Belfort Lecturer was A.G.J. Voragen, Professor of Food Chemistry, Food
Science Department and Director, Department of Food Technology and
Nutritional Sciences, Wageningen Agricultural University.
Prof. Dr. Voragen’s lecture entitled “Progress in Structural
Elucidation of Pectin” reviewed work from his laboratory using enzymes
and spectroscopic techniques to determine pectin fine structure.
